A practical reading list covering Big Tech strategy, stoicism, ego control, competition, and smart investing.

One of my mentors once told me, "Choosing what to read is the first step to putting the right knowledge in your head." Here is my top 5 list of books I will carry everywhere. Books every entrepreneur should read. A mix of strategy (The Four, Art of War), mindset (Meditations, Ego Is the Enemy), and money (The Intelligent Investor). This book list will put you on the edge of the game.
Books Every Entrepreneur Should Read
The Four - Scott Galloway
Understand how the big enterprise formed its company and what game changers it applied to achieve this, not only in a theoretical way, but also in a practical way. It is a deep dive into the DNA of the world's top brands. You can gain a lot of knowledge about business strategies and tactics, and how to apply them to your business. This is crucial because understanding the top minds in the game can open your eyes to what you have that your competitors don't.
Meditations - Marcus Aurelius
Read it, reread it, and reread it 6 months later. I have read this book more than 10 times, and each time I return to it, I find myself exploring the same paragraphs in new ways. This is because Marcus wrote about reflections throughout his "life," and many of them make you reflect on your own. It's a hard book to read, but an easy book to talk with. Read it and learn from the core values of Stoicism. Use it as a compass for your life.
Ego is the Enemy - Ryan Holiday
Ryan became one of my top 10 authors in a short period of time. He is incredible and can take challenging stoic concepts and distill them into simple phrases that any human being can understand. This book reveals our ego; it makes us aware of how that disease can make us look dumb, stupid, and nonsensical. For many people, it can be the first step toward an ongoing learning process. Humility is key to achieving success, and the most efficient way to cultivate it is to push down our ego.
The Art of War - Sun Tzu
Understand how ancient leaders studied every battlefield and war. This knowledge can relate to how business, partnerships, and strategy can be applied to your life and/or business. A big part of the game is understanding who and how we need to go after in terms of competition. This book reveals what to do in each case. Short but with a lot of impact.
The Intelligent Investor - Benjamin Graham
Understand how the big sharks in the game invest their money, and how to manage it brilliantly. This book is essential for planning how you'll move your money after your success. You can do a ton of cash, but if you do not know what to do...You are cooked.
Go check these bangers.
Thanks for reading,
